Latin American Week

Latin American Week showcases a series of cultural events including a Fiesta Blanca Cruise, Flamenco Tango Night and Vancouver’s Carnaval del Sol festival.

In 2018 the week takes place from June 27th until July 8th.

Latin American Week 2018

Close to 40,000 people of Latin American and Caribbean origin call the Lower Mainland home, which explains why the City of Vancouver proclaims a 10 to 12-day period in early July each year as a special week to celebrate their culture.

Latin American Week includes a number of events that showcase Latin American culture in different ways. Highlights of the week in 2018 are listed below.

Carnaval del Sol | Fiesta Blanca Salsa Cruise | Canada Day Parade at Granville Island | Latin Film Night | Women’s Voices in the Americas | Flamenco, Tango & Wine Night
